* Eligibility-

  -University: BA/BFA in Dance, Conservatory: Diploma in Dance -2009, 2010 & 2011.

  -High level of committment to the continued growth of ones own "Dance Instrument".

  -High level of committment in a peer group setting is expected.

  -Exceptions will be considered.


 * Benefits-

  -All necessary resources, which includes Studio Space for all sessions, numerous sessions

  addressing different aspects of Contemporary Dance, Audio/Media/Technology tools &

  resources, access to the Global Open Source Dance Peer Pool and access to a Global Pool of

  Professional Dance/Interdisciplinary advisors will be provided.


  -All generated content/data by each participant, [Movement Vocabulary, Choreography,

  Dance Notation Data, Documentation, Video, Audio, Research etc] can be maintained in the

  Data Portal on the OSD Servers. Each participant will be have complete "Creative Commons"

  licensing to their respective content/data and will have total control to do with this data as they

  please.


  -Observing the principals of "Open Source", where, within a defined framework/infrastructure,

  a group of Individuals pool their resources /knowledge for the benefit of their continued

  development, OSD participants, specifically a peer group of new professional dancers, as

  defined in the eligibility requirements above, utilizing all resources provided and now within

  an environment of artistic and intellectual freedom, will be able to realize their potential

  sooner than later.


  * Costs- None for the Participant.
